Our Home

Welcome to Holmleigh Care Home

Holmleigh is a high-quality care home with deceptively modern facilities. It is in a rural location just outside Navenby with glorious far-reaching views of surrounding countryside from many of the well-appointed rooms, all being en-suite.

Originally a substantial detached property in a large garden, it has been considerably extended with three single storey wings. There are several lounges, two spacious dining rooms and a lift to the upper floor in the main house.

Our home manager and her team, have been running Holmleigh for almost 20 years now; they made the home into what it is today - the best choice of care in the area with a genuine family feel.

Moving a loved one into a care home is a big decision and we understand how stressful this can be. However, it may be the best option for someone who is struggling to live alone, has a complex medical condition or has been assessed suggesting that a care home is the best choice.

In the same time, for some elderly people moving into a care home can simply be a decision based on the benefits that living in a care home can offer, such as a feeling of security, companionship, regular activities, ongoing support or nutritional, balanced meals.

Whatever the reason for choosing a care home, this can prove to be the best option for your loved one and it can also help reduce the stress and assist with your own health, social life and general wellbeing.

Here at Holmleigh, we offer a wide range of services suitable for different needs and choices.

Testimonials

What Our Clients Say

My 90-year-old Mother was finding it increasingly difficult living alone in the home she had been in for 53 years. She moved to Holmleigh and was initially very homesick. That was 5 weeks ago. Now she wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

It's impossible to single out any member of staff to commend as they are all wonderful. Mum can't fault the way she is being cared for and neither can we. Not all care homes feel like home. Not all care homes care. Holmleigh scores on both.

Mum has made new friends of both the staff and residents and is constantly telling us how well she is being looked after and that nothing is too much trouble. The way that any minor issues are communicated to me by the staff give me complete peace of mind that Mum is OK. If you are reading this you probably have some difficult decisions to make.

Choosing Holmleigh will be the right answer to one of them.

Holmleigh is an excellent home. The standards are high.

My mother was a resident for 2 1/2 years and was very happy there.

My mother is very happy at Holmleigh and often says that if she needs to be in a care home she is happy to be in Holmleigh.

The care is excellent and all her immediate and long-term needs are attended to. She does say that her room is small but it is adequate.

The main issue is that she is safe and feels well looked after.
